Hunting is the most ethical way to harvest meat if you do it right.

If you pull that trigger, you best kill the animal in one shot. Here’s where to aim.

Deer are basically free range livestock.

They’re destructive to crops and vehicles, if the population isn’t controlled.

Once a license is purchased, you get 3 tags. If you’re donating to a charity, you can harvest beyond 3.

We have more deer than people here, and we have a lot of food insecurity. Hunters for the hungry feeds a lot of poor people here.

Contraception is far superior in controlling population.

    Citation needed.

Stop trying to justify the fact that you just enjoy killing something that doesn’t fight back.

Stop shitting on our way of life. Deer is cheap, plentiful protein.

You sound like a vegan. 🙄

First, wrong region. I’m not in an urban region of Canada, I’m in a rural part of a red state.

2nd, the expense is negligible. We already have the equipment necessary for harvesting deer, and the skill to field strip the useful meat and preserve it.

As far as time, I can leave out on a hunting trip Saturday morning, return Sunday evening, and be at work Monday morning.

My family has been living off the land since before the United States was a thing. I’m a 13th great grandson of Chief Powhatan.
