We always get asked about having such a large height difference, so figured this could be a fun ama

Is there anything particular one of you likes to do but it’s uncomfortable or unpractical for the other one due to the different heights? Like in the way of hobbies or activities.

Sports. He is annoyingly athletic. Also even when he’s not trying he’s way too fast for me to keep up with just because of how long his stride is compared to mine. His favorite hobby is reminding me that I’m short, which he loves doing.

I on the other hand can fit into any car or plane seat far better than him, and I also never have an issue finding a bed I can fully stretch out on.

But mostly we enjoy doing stuff together :)

My mother, who was 5’2", but is more like 5’0" these days will respond to anyone that mentions her height that, “my legs are tall enough to reach the ground.”

Was totally expecting you to say the sports thing but I definitely see the perks of being short for plane and arena seats! You guys seem awesome. Wishing you a long and happy marriage!

I would literally die if any cold water hit me in the shower lol. We have one that’s big enough for him to be comfortable in

I’ve got a slightly larger height difference from my wife than OP does from her husband, and yeah, I’ll occasionally hide snacks and stuff on the top shelf of the pantry. However she can effectively hide things from me on the lower shelves of the pantry or fridge, so it works out.

Is the height difference a pro, con or neutral in sex?

I’m short and always wondered if being with a really tall person would be fun because they are so much stronger and some positions are probably easier. But I can also see how it might actually be more of an inconvenience as some positions are probably hard and maybe they don’t feel like picking you up all the time 😆

Yes, there are some things that are made easier on avoiding of him being bigger/strong and me being smaller/light. But there are also things that are made more difficult by our heights not lining up in the slightest lol. So I guess it kinda evens out.

    My wife and I aren’t as big a difference, I’m 6’, she’s 5’2".
The last time I blew my back out really badly, I’d been reaching for something on the top shelf she’d asked for. She decided that was a prime opportunity to put her full force into smashing the ever loving fuck out of my ass. Spent a week and a half laid up in bed. Maybe don’t put everything you got into it, eh?

    Now…the question:

    What’s your favourite dinosaur 🦕?

Has your husband ever had a problem finding you in a crowd? My wife and I are of similar height differences to you two but I often end up losing her only to find out she was underneath me the whole time.

My friend says that short people are mad all the time because they’re so much closer to hell. My(5’7") wife(5’) and I disagree with this logic, but my friend said we’re both too short and apparently God can tell if you’re cheating by using a ladder. As far as I can tell, I’m not 7 inches happier than my wife, but we don’t have the resources for a proper test.

Can you and your husband find out if he’s happier being naturally further away from hell? Also, logic would dictate that he’s a better person because he’s closer to heaven. Thank you in advance for your contributions to science.

He is happier than me but it has nothing to do with heaven or hell. He’s happier because he gets to make short jokes about me day in and day out and I’m unhappy because I have to listen to them. He also puts my goldfish on the top shelf so I am even annoyed during snack time

Pastafarianism says that gravity comes from the Flying Spaghetti Monster holding us down with his noodly appendages, so short people are more blessed because they get more contact with his Noodlyness 🙏
