Anyone ever try the windshield resin kits? I also have a couple of knicks but am a little lazy to repair it, especially since idk how the resin will look.
It can be invisible after the repair, but it can also sometimes leave a slightly wobbly look or an outline if it’s not perfectly flush with the rest of the windscreen.
I have, for a rock hit that made a crack like the size of a quarter that spreads out in multiple directions from the center of the break. Like a $20 kit from an auto parts store. One where you clean the area, remove debris. Put on a suction like device, and drip the material in and let stuff sit for a while. I thinkni chose a RainX kit. Don’t remember.
It definitely filled in the crack and made it a lot less noticeable, but it’s still noticeable. Supposedly it strengthens that part and helps stop the crack from spreading. Dunno. Been fine for about a year now.
