Also Sweden doesn’t have the same history with the n word as we do in the US. I assume it’s not as frowned upon to use there, though probably not appreciated either. He should know that his international audience may not take kindly to it but that’s a seperate issue. Just to clarify, I don’t believe he or any white person should be using the n word.

No meaning at all. Those who use it don’t think about it. They do not put deeper meaning into it. It just sounds funny, cool, whatever. Often, the reaction of others is the reward for the person using it.

There was no inclusive language 100 years ago in all societies. This has to develop and is especially difficult because new people are born every year and many do not get the highest education.
Moreover, you think it is insulting to you or anyone somewhere but there are many people who do not think that it is offensive. There are also many removed who use it and don’t think it is offensive. Just like there are many disabled people who don’t think using some words isn’t offensive.
It’s always subjective. We are currently not born into a slur free, inclusive society that respects each other and is mindfulness. Most people simply do not care and don’t know it better. People are dumb.
