Yeah, but it’s God as we understand Him so it’s totally not a Christian cult when the next steps include:

• Admitting to God the exact nature of our wrongs
• Having God remove all these defects of character
• Humbly asking Him to remove our shortcomings
• Seeking through prayer to improve our contact with God
• Praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.
• Carrying this message to other alcoholics
