Apparently there was a huge deal I didn’t notice? Had this person blocked because there constantly were (very obvious) troll comments that caught my eye and I started to notice it was always the same account. Went to profile, info text said like
Drag likes to “ride” dragons
Yeah at this point I just blocked them 😂

Well, one instance of it was on their main account, so it doesn’t matter that much. (Sry about the SC quality)
I wasn’t the one who issued the ban so I can’t say for sure, but IIRC the reasoning was that both accounts spoke in Drag’s unique way. That and by all appearances the account seems to have been made specifically to harass a user Drag was beefing with at the time.
It was meant to be “Do this obviously exxagerated thing, or try your best to persist.” It was anti-suicide

Drag’s a user with weird neopronouns and got upset when people didn’t use them. This started ‘discourse’ about not intentionally misgendering people just because you don’t like them, even if they use weird Neo-pronouns.
Also went around telling people to off them selves. Got banned for it.
Half of this website bending over backwards to make sure not to accidentally use the wrong pronouns of someone who is clearly a troll acting in bad faith and encouraged suicide.

Two separate things.
One is a matter of principle about not herassing people over chosen identities, regardless of how odd they are.
Another is them breaking rules that warrant a ban.
The second does not invalidate the first. And lumping the first in with the second devalues the second.
If a troll gets a kick out of seeing their preferred trolly pronouns used while being banned for other stuff, then that’s a price in willing to pay to respect people generally.
