Something is seriously wrong with that steak, was it frozen when you started cooking it? Did you just chuck it in the pan and then turn on the heat? Is it microwaves? I would say it’s over cooked based on the inside but then there should be some caramelisation on the outside.

Have you never boiled your steak? It’s delicious, and you get free steak water.

stock cubes or bovril are probably easier ways to get meat water
