I’d say that would be closer to the precedent to modern conservatism and lacks the connections to big business, distributed recreation and virulent racism but that is a valid discussion and point. I’d also suggest that bonapartism is a little bit too early to be called “modern” as a precursor as it is coming from the first and not second industrial revolution. I think both go on to influence the German Nazi party
