The US is one of 3 countries on the planet that still stubbornly primarily uses imperial units. “The US doesn’t do it that way” isn’t a great argument for not adopting a standard.

Saying that our only options are to produce stuff or not produce CO2 at a gargantuan scale is a false dichotomy. CO2 production at the scale that it is now is the result of the production processes that result in that CO2 being cheaper than the ones that on the whole, do not. We are flushing this planet down the drain not because we cant do otherwise but because its cheaper right now to do what were doing instead.

I use potassium salt and a lot of the stuff I eat is homemade so I dont feel any guilt pouring the salt on if I choose

When I was in junior high there was a project that was worth half my grade that was announced on day 1 and due at the end of the semester. I waited until an hour before it was due to start working on it. I got an A. I can only imagine what I could have done if I had worked on it consistently throughout the semester like a normal person.

The whole point of ADHD being diagnosed is that it has become a problem. Enough of one that people wait months if not years on a list to be assessed and pay hundreds, thousands of dollars for that assessment depending on insurance or lack thereof. And because of the pandemic shortages, a lot of people have trouble obtaining medication or in my case, they had bad reactions to specific types and need to find ones that work without those side effects. I was fortunate. My therapist was neurodivergent and made sure that I got support even before I was formally diagnosed.

Tbf windows defender is pretty good.

That only really happens if there is no immediate threat of doom. If there is, I am the most productive person on the face of the Earth but only due to the sheer terror that results from last second procrastination.

CBT therapy is the tutorial. The drugs are aim assist. The game is still set to hard but at least now you have a fighting chance

The DOD was like this. And it wasn’t just that you had to change passwords every so often but the requirements for those passwords were egregious but at the same time changing 1 number or letter was enough to pass the password requirements.

The same people that would have given that poor nigerian prince their bank account details
