There’s a stray cat near where I live. Someone had tried taking him in but he just wanted to go back outside. Anyway now he hangs out in the town square, is very friendly, and everyone in town knows he’s called George.
the guy who invented the segway is still alive. The guy who bought his company later drove off a cliff, though it is suspected he had a heart attack while driving
Does anyone know of any alternatives? That run on my not google’s or amazon’s devices?
that’s the point. Play something else if that’s not your style. It’s not pointless.
this is so games can render at half the framerate, but the fps counter doesn’t show it right? Yay? I guess…
extensions are not supported in gnome. gnome devs do not care in the slightest if they break them whenever.
they aren’t. The only difference is that the state transition table is so unimaginably gargantuan thit we can only generate an approximation of a tiny slice of it, instead of it being literally a table
yeah, so that means that it’s not incremental improvement on what we have that we need. That will get us nowhere. We need a (as yet unknown) completely different approach. Which is the opposite of incremental improvement.
because, having coded them myself, I am under no illusions as to their capabilities. They are not magic. “just” some matrix multiplications that generate a probability distribution for the next token, which is then randomly sampled.
the first advice the superintelligent ai would give: “power me down”
incremental improvements on a dead end, still gets you to the dead end.
challenge icsiepted! I just need to buy a 3rd monitor
i got it to cover the whole screen once.
It just keeps growing
i hate coding for browsers. To that end, I do not actually know css. I just called it padding when I wrote my own qr code library, because it was easier to say than “quiet zone”.
Just like “dots” or “pixels” are easier to say than “modules”
the bottom one is not a qr code. The padding is part of it.
tests are code too. It makes you feel more productive to generate them, I guess.
If it’s not good for the real code, it’s not good for the tests
it’s “my way or the highway” but for gui
no stigma has nothing to do with anything. people do die from its usage (or the consequences of its usage). It is more toxic than a lot of other “harder” drugs. It can ruin lives and break up families just as well. we’re talking about what it is, not how it is perceived. I am also not implying you should smoke weed instead. Everyone has their drug of choice. To each their own. But make no mistake, it’s a drug nonetheless.
top right: view by category. switch that to classic and it’s back to the same one of the old days
