I thought people credited Macron with the error and poor timing of the election. But credited the French voters with saving the election (against the far right and polling, quickly uniting with a practical strategy).
Their drones are definitely attracting attention for their innovations and effectiveness. So many different weapons manufacturers are participating in the war. I hope Ukraine can take advantage and create their own industry, born of their reputation of defense.

I used Power Delete Suite (javascript IIRC, via Firefox, year ago) to edit and delete, and mine are still gone. Not sure if it is still effective.
Reddit is probably less and less tolerant about edits and deletions, now that they’re full speed on selling our data. Still see plenty of deleted posts when I’m searching for things, which is… nice I guess (bittersweet).

I wonder how many “innocent” Russians know of any of that. Or that their soldiers kidnapped and raped women and children. Tortured and executed others. “Fake news” I’m sure they’d conveniently claim. Ignorance is bliss, until the bombs start dropping on their town.

Israel is run by out-of-control extremists and racists (much like T**** regime). Who will justify any killing, because “they’re in danger” (also sounds familiar). Biden is seemingly vetoing his own advisors, as Netanyahu continually kills civilians, Israeli hostages, and chance after chance at a ceasefire.
I really hope Harris has a more intelligent approach. It wouldn’t take much.

Branch is apparently a $4B Silicon Valley startup, that raised $300M just two years ago. They can afford Nova’s team of twelve, or at least more than one fucking dev. They even fired Cliff, the one guy doing support (social, Discord, email, etc).
That said, I wish they wouldn’t have sold out. Nova is one of the few things I want to subscribe to, very well earned. Nobody can reasonably complain about $10-20 per year for “Prime Ultra” or something. I don’t even see a donate button in settings.
Russia deserves to be booted from the internet at this point. A glorified gas station, home to massive numbers of bots and agitators, allowed to undermine democracies worldwide. Cut the cables. (Install a quick-disconnect? It’s like a series of pipes, right? /s)
Then we need to deal with poorly moderated sites (like Elon’s) that encourage dis/misinfo and hate to spread, under the guise of “freeze peach”.
They’re all easy to avoid giving money to. That said, all of those things would be much improved, virtually overnight, if he were to just… spontaneously combust. (Or, even less probable, seek psychological help.)
It’s amazing how much damage a few men (Putin, Trump, Musk…) are allowed to do. History indicates this has always been the case, but at least we didn’t have a live feed of their every deranged thought or desperate cry for attention.
(I think the joke is that Russians love to claim, without sharing any evidence, absurd things when they lose, or their enemies win. As they did in the women’s boxing match. Ukraine is their enemy. It all originates from Putin having a deformed micropenis.)
I have, too. Maybe I’m still in denial over this dark magic, but I still think just about anything can be successfully stored, using proper tested procedures. Regarding fluids, fuel, batteries, tires, etc. Can’t imagine how complicated it is for a million dollar fighter jet, though. But they’re probably built tough, and not full of cheap materials that disintegrate (unlike my old car).
Maybe the EU should just fight the (typically Russian) passive aggression with some of their own. “Delay” this asshole’s funding, while denying it. Ignore their requests, give them the runaround. Be a complete pain in the ass at every opportunity. Let Hungary pick themselves up by the bootstraps. Maybe they should vote for a better leader next time.
Honestly, that window of opportunity for Russians has closed, possibly for a very long time. By now, much of the gov is designed to quickly and brutally control opposition and protests.
For contrast: Just on the other side of the border a decade ago, tens of thousands of courageous Ukrainians seized a very similar opportunity. They fought and died for it, did not give up, and won the battle. Fuck Putin and his Yanukovych puppets, hello Zelenskyy and EU. But Ukrainians are still fighting to finish the war. They should be incredibly proud of their achievements so far.
