mournfully flipping the counter back to “0” on the “it has been X days since a turbolib said something deeply homophobic” sign
ah yes the useless proprietary headphone jack (?) microphone jack (??) displayport (???) and ethernet ports (???) … which you can only replicate with USBC with expensive adapters 🤔
13 downvoters are turned-on and mad about it
“legal people” nobody is “illegal” friend, leave that kind of dehumanising inaccurate language to the far right
with the armband as well it seems like kind of a dogwhistle
Sure, like any other wildly unethical job there’s a spectrum of different people’s privilege and ability to easily cut out to a less cartoonishly evil job – I would hold Person A with a background in cybersecurity and no dependants a lot more responsible for every day they remain a cop than Person B who joined police academy straight out of high school and is supporting 5 children etc.
But saying that Person B should be excluded from “fuck cops” – that is, that there should be an exception to the general cultural work of making it socially unacceptable to be part of a murderous, racist, unjust, reactionary paid army – is supporting the institution that you’re claiming to be against. Waiting until a complete societal transformation before campaigning for people to not take blood money (your euphemistic “consciousness price”) is valuing Person B’s economic solvency over the lives of the people they (or, being generous, just their colleagues) will harass, target, frame, and even kill.
cool can you point me at the repo for their server software then? and the f-droid reproducible build of their android app, or the sideloadable iOS app?

he doesn’t it’s a terrible machine learning upscale. which is a weird choice because The Matrix is available in high resolution so whoever upscaled it could have just pulled a better still
“best” in terms of what, most war crimes? most planetary destruction? highest amount of corruption?
“the problem is the institution, not the people actively participating in the institution in exchange for money and power” what
this cold war propaganda belongs in a museum
then I spent a minute like “what does ‘tyrann’ mean, is this a warhammer thing?”
blaming pedestrians in crosswalks for getting hit by cars seems pretty bloodthirsty (and fuckcars is a weird community to say it)
“form[ing] partnerships with the private sector” is literal privatisation.
and the Canary is one of the (the only?) worker owned news outlets in the UK, sometimes it’s a bit sloppy but calling it “trash” is doing free PR work for plutocrats
thanks for the constructive answer. I’m less confused about lockdowns than I am about mask mandates and air quality rules, which seem like they wouldn’t be as affected by at least the pressure from other countries.
it shakes my faith in AES governments that all these places seem to have given up on mask mandates, testing, and air quality 😢
wow that sure is an extraordinary claim that a brain parasite has similar negative health effects to vaccines I’m sure extraordinary evidence is right on the way…
