The only times I have been stung by wasps is when I accidentally grabbed the thing they had landed on. Otherwise I always ignore wasps when I notice them and they never sting me 🤷🏻‍♀️ Staying calm seems to work for me.

I’m having this problem on Android rn. Coming from iOS, the content density is just super low, and no amount of tweaking display/font size will fix it 🙁

These are all backwards. The eyes are reversed so everything that’s supposed to be a hole looks like a bump and vice-versa.

EDIT : TIL about cross v wall eyed. I dont understand why they would do it this way though ? The image is much less stable, and moving it at all completely breaks the effect. Wall-eyed really allows you to move and observe details without breaking.

• My config is all in one place and easy to share
• If I ever break something, I can always roll back
• I don’t need Docker

Blizzard’s last good release was Overwatch (2016), which they have subsequently completely ruined (in my opinion) so I wouldn’t be proud of having worked there unless it was a long time ago 😅

I’ve heard Flatpaks aren’t great at CLI tools, is that true ?

As a Nix user, I’m glad Flatpaks exist for other people, but I only ever use them when a package is not available from Nix directly. Seeing as Nix is literally the biggest package manager out there, it’s a pretty rare occurrence.

You should switch Organic Maps for CoMaps in the checklist.

The only irreplaceable thing Google has is YouTube.

You can set it up to compile all your software yourself with the exact options you want, just like Gentoo. Not how most people use it, but still, NixOS can fulfill some of the same roles as Gentoo, they are very comparable.

Use Obtainium, and try to get apps outside of F-Droid as much as possible. Their method of signing apps themselves introduces a huge single point of failure in the security chain…

I’m only 1 gen ahead with a RTX 2070 and I have yet to see a game not be able to run on Ultra on it ; but that’s probably because I haven’t been interested in any new release since Elden Ring 😅

It sounds like a cool distro but I don’t see any advantages compared to NixOS, aside from maybe the option to make it more minimal for constrained environments.
