Never heard of Caves of Qud (at least don’t remember it), looks like Dwarf Fortress, though I haven’t played Dwarf Fortress either, so could be wrong in that.
Ahan, that’s interesting.
It’s fun for casual Pokémon TCG fans, but didn’t know if someone who has been in TCG scene for a while will enjoy it or not. So, good to see you liking it.
I just play it once or twice a day, so am very casual.
How long did it take you to finish the game?
Nice. Good to know exploration eventually becomes fun.
Are there any side quests etc. that you can miss out by not exploring? Or just some random chests and stuff?
I haven’t been gaming on PC for a long time so stopped following it, but from what I recall, they changed that.
They officially changed their name to “GOG”, previously it was same but it stood for Good Old Gaming, they removed that part. Also, they started focusing on getting newer games. I am typing this from memory, so it’s possible that it isn’t exactly correct, but that’s what I recall.
It seems they are going back to their roots. Maybe because they need competitive edge to stay in market, or maybe they actually care about these things, who knows.
I don’t have too many memories of Atari either, but I do recall playing some when I was very young, so could be interesting.
Oh cool, Atari anniversary was in my wishlist, but I am kinda 50/50 on it. Never even heard of Llamasoft game, will check it out.
I watched the video about Tetris Forever, they did some fun things with (local?) multiplayer. Well, at least it looked fun in the trailer, don’t know how fun it is when actually playing it.
Retrorealms game look pretty good. Hope they release more such games.
Watched your video essay! I was hoping for a more cheerful video about how great Puyo Puyo is, this wasn’t that!
I am one of those people who got Puyo Puyo Tetris because of Tetris (played demo with my wife for a long time, then bought it one day), and while I played some Puyo Puyo, and was able to make simple chains, I wasn’t very good at it, and since my wife preferred Tetris, we mostly just played that. I did play some of the campaign too, but then got busy with other stuff, wanted to get back to it, but never got around to it.
When I reached the Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop part, I thought, this looks nice, why haven’t I heard of it. It might be cool to try a Puyo Puyo single-player game and see if I can get into it. Then you explained why I haven’t heard of it…
Well, let’s hope Sega makes a nice Puyo Puyo game with both a good single player mode / campaign and a multiplayer / competitive mode. Would love to try it out, if they do.
Oooh nice! How is Diablo 4 now? Last I heard people weren’t happy with the latest changes they made, are things better now?
Heh, I am the same, no matter how much I am liking the game, once I have finished the game, my motivation for side content drops very quickly.
I don’t care too much about reaching 100%, as long as I have covered most of the stuff, it’s cool. If you are going to leave the game anyway, might as well finish it!
Nice work on the guide! Very succinct and to the point. Exactly what I look for when I just want to see specific ending (or get specific trophy).
Hope they fix the sea exploration, but the game has been out in Japan for a while, so I doubt there would be any changes to gameplay now.
How was Ys IX’s performance? I played VIII on switch and loved it, but I was wondering if I should get IX on PS5 instead, to get better performance, though I like to play longer / JRPG-ish games on Switch, can play more that way.
Yeah, that’s generally my plan too. I stick it to a while, but then for some reason end up starting multiple games and end up like now 😀
Good luck with the DLCs.
Oh yeah, loved the game. I think I got a platinum for it. Haven’t played the remake yet though, but it’s in my backlog.
As others have said the game is not perfect, it was initially supposed to be an MMORPG but then they changed it to a single player game, also there was some drama with the studio that was making it, got bankrupt making it. Maybe if they had more time / money they could’ve improved it even more.
Also, it was written by the fantasy author R. A. Salvatore.
I took it more as a way to relax, but then I generally like Nintendo so could be a bit biased about it.
Wow, that sounds bad.
I knew that people aren’t happy with Wizards of the Coast because of their decisions with D&D, but didn’t know MTG people weren’t happy with them either.
Oh yeah, heard about that. Good thing I couldn’t get into Sims 4, or would’ve been too disappointed.
Oooh, nice!
Never played Sonic Adventure 2. I have only played one or two 3D Sonic games of old, and I don’t think it was this one. Do plan to get Shadow Generations though.
I don’t recall if I played the first Sims or the second one, but I remember loving it. I recently tried Sims 4 on PlayStation but couldn’t get into it, no idea if the game was bad or I just don’t like such games anymore.
Glad you are better now.
Ah, 2013! When we were still young!
Jack Black is generally fun. Will give it a try some day soon.
Interesting. Loved first two Fallout games, will take a deeper look at it.
