Because OP wasn’ts complaining about taxes in general, they were specifically complaining about real estate taxes.
If it’s illegal, lawyer up and sue. If it’s not illegal, contact your local newspaper to try to get the story out there so voters can decide it o7ght to be illegal.

In Italy speeding fines are a fixed amount based on how far over the limit you’re going, which makes them a regressive tax on going fast - wealthy people can sinply afford to speed as much as they like while the poor suffer. That woman they quoted who clearly thought the cameras would meaningfully deter speeding was full of shit; the cameras are there to generate revenue, not reduce speeding.

There are sublems for various political viewpoints, but a sublem built around differing opinions and discussing them, where people don’t automatically downvote things they disagree with? I know of none such. Even the laxest political ones have rampant voting based on agreement, not post quality.
