I’m reading the new translation. I can’t really speak to the quality but I like the style. One tricky thing is it’s structured a little differently than the other editions. There is a chart comparing the various English editions in an appendix…I will post it when I get a chance.

I don’t think there will be a noticeable difference. Real Time kernel is intended for things like microcontrollers I believe.

1491 is an excellent read, I highly recommend

I feel like they did the same thing with Obama. It’s a lazy attack but I think they are trying to reinforce that they aren’t “American” (read, “white”) by attaching them to scary foreign looking political symbols.
