j/k. My daughter and I are going to Vancouver this week. If I had to go back and forth regularly I would probably be very frustrated but it is a rarity for us.

Sounds wonderful, and living in Comox Valley all easily accessible. Heck I can pick wild berries and cook bannock in my back yard.

I will never be a native in either sense of the word, but I do love this place. Its beauty blows my mind nearly every day.

Well sure, since those pipes are already transporting methane. I dont think requiring each home to have its own methane pyrolysis infrastructure is particularly practical or efficient either.

Most hydrogen is produced from natural gas so would not really be a replacement for the foreseeable future. Gas infrastructure is not designed for transporting hydrogen so leaks would be significant. Hydrogen can also penetrate into steel piping and cause it to crack and deteriorate more rapidly.

Biogas, sure if there were enough production available.

I think more likely answer is that most businesses are cheap and a mediocre image generated by AI is good enough vs paying a human to make a really good one.

I suggest trying Cinnamon and see how it feels. Unless your old notebook has less than 2GB RAM then you will probably be aok. I have run it on some pretty weak machines before and never found XFCE to be noticeably snappier.
