Thanks for the tip about uphokstery fabric. Is it thicker?
Interesting about flat lays - is that what people are asking for the most or what you prefer?

Cool! What sort of fabric and where did you get it from? I like the idea of fabric being more durable than paper.
Haha, I’m sure you’ll get there with practice :)
Half-rolls of seamless is a perennial favorite and my old go-to.
Of what material? And do you remember what weight you were using? If it’s a black/dark backdrop I’m keen to prevent too much leakage from any light behind it. Thanks :)
Yes it does.
Cyberdecks are 1) pocketable 2) computing devices 3) often wireless, and 4) run Linux.
That’s what people want from phones, so I figured it was a valid contribution to the discussion.
I guess not…
Are there any Linux mobile OSs that do not use a compatibility layer with Android underneath it?
I tried Ubuntu Touch a couple of years ago and couldn’t get mobile data working with UK provider but apart from that it was very cool.
There are already some very cool-looking Linux cyberdecks.
You can have both parents go out and work full-time to make ends meet (don’t ask about economic inequality) or you can have them around to raise their children. You can’t have both Bridget, I’m sorry.

I’ve been using YUNOhost for the last 3 years and it’s been great. I had no prior experience and would have had no chance of self-hosting without it.
Plus one for Star Labs. I have one of their laptops and it’s a really nice bit of kit.
That is so cool. I want one!

I think he took that back and apologised in a recent Novara interview.
The Greens have good policies, he seems to be getting through to people and it sounds like they are up for a leftwing collaboration, which increases the value of a vote for either them or the new Corbyn party.
The Greens are comrades and puritanical bickering within the left is exactly what the capitalist establishment and the rightwing wants to keep us away from power. Don’t give it to them.
YUNOhost FTW!
I would never have gotten into self-hosting without it.
I’ll be voting for Corbyn’s party at the next election.
I think this is cool and will make it easier for the average person to move away from the big tech providers that do the most damage to privacy.
I think it’s both. For example if you personally bought a piece of agricultural land and applied for planning to build a home on it yourself, you’d almost certainly be rejected.
Despite what you might hear there is still plenty of space though: Buildings cover less of Britain than the land revealed when the tide goes out.
People just doesn’t want any of you to have somewhere to live on it.
Communities feel powerless because the law gives betting firms the upper hand.
One could say that the odds are stacked against them.
Great tips, thank you!
