Analogue Pocket and Steam Deck over here, got it all covered!
Nope
Defense industry, law enforcement, and surveillance are all instant dealbreakers for me whenever a recruiter reaches out to me. And sadly that seems like the vast majority of positions for which recruiters are looking for candidates.
That or AI shit.
I’m so tired of the tech industry.

Garbage country. Constantly competing with the USA for who can be worse, and frequently winning.
I so agree. The whole bear thing in Baulder’s Gate 3 was pretty awesome. But I want more, and bolder.
Why the fuck aren’t there any quadrupedal species dating humanoids in Star Trek??
sleeping with your arcanine: hot

I bought my house with Redfin while I worked for Zillow. Definitely better and not even close.

That whole game is a travesty, between needing to be online and connected to their servers just to LOOK at your own damn cars, to the bullshit microtransactions encouraged by the psychopathic randomness when getting awards after races and shit.
And not being able to hide the big red annoying gear shift suggestion, unfixed after GT Sport had the same bullshit
GT7 could have been so good

No I need Ethernetv6!

ruh-heely, now, newbie?
Hopefully al dente for that superior beakfeel
I’m of course biased having had a 2022 Taycan 4S Cross Turismo for 3.5 years now, but between my husband and I its had five full track days. Sure its heft is felt in the corners, but rear axle steering and torque vectoring and having good summer tires on mitigate that a LOT.
Also I was still keeping pace with GT3s, but I suspect that has more to do with GT3 owners babying their cars.
Not to mention how awesome it feels hitting 140+ mph without any engine sounds, just the wind rushing by the open windows and the sounds of the tires. That, and I get to enjoy all the awesome sounds of other people’s expensive cars!
I hear you, though. Our other car is a manual WRX STI (1999 JDM, right hand drive), and the joys of commanding that chorus of an engine are unbeatable.
But if I had to have only one car, the Taycan wagon remains the best one out there for my needs and preferences, and I enjoy it so much that I very rarely fire up the STI

Again. None of this is unique to EVs. Cars with internal combustion engines are at least equally as enshittified. At LEAST.

ICE cars are full of the same gadgetry, so once again this has fuck all to do with EVs.

Bullshit article. Absolutely nothing about these problems is unique to EVs.

our electricity isn’t green so it feels kind of…counter intuitive in a sense
Even if your power source is burning coal, it’s still less harmful to drive an EV powered by coal than an ICE car powered by gasoline or diesel.
This oil and coal industry talking point has been debunked time and time again.
Hell, even Forbes of all outlets has an article about it: https://www.forbes.com/sites/mikescott/2020/03/30/yes-electric-cars-are-cleaner-even-when-the-power-comes-from-coal/
try a Taycan and say that with a straight face!
clearly not much of a foot guy, huh?
