I’m of course biased having had a 2022 Taycan 4S Cross Turismo for 3.5 years now, but between my husband and I its had five full track days. Sure its heft is felt in the corners, but rear axle steering and torque vectoring and having good summer tires on mitigate that a LOT.

Also I was still keeping pace with GT3s, but I suspect that has more to do with GT3 owners babying their cars.

Not to mention how awesome it feels hitting 140+ mph without any engine sounds, just the wind rushing by the open windows and the sounds of the tires. That, and I get to enjoy all the awesome sounds of other people’s expensive cars!

I hear you, though. Our other car is a manual WRX STI (1999 JDM, right hand drive), and the joys of commanding that chorus of an engine are unbeatable.

But if I had to have only one car, the Taycan wagon remains the best one out there for my needs and preferences, and I enjoy it so much that I very rarely fire up the STI
