  • Most of the people that talked up the 2nd amendment and that bought a bunch of guns are cheering on what’s happening, so they won’t fight against it. They’re not phonys they’re part of the dictatorship. It seems they like when other people get hurt, as long as its not them.

They just don’t know history enough to realize, eventually it will be them. Just give it time. The only people that are truly safe from a dictorship are the dictator. Even his inner circle, a dictator will turn on a dime if they perceive disloyalty, or fear being usurped, or you disappointed them by doing a bad job, etc. Literally no one is safe but the dictator, that’s generally why everyone is scared shitless all the time during times of dictatorship. No one is safe.

  • And I believe such a solution is within reach. In fact, I think I’ve stumbled upon an idea that could help us get there…I’m currently putting the finishing touches on the concept and plan to publish it in the coming days. This article serves as a prelude

Another narcissist to add to the list apparently. I didn’t read the article, but based on that statement alone, “I’m the one that has the answer to save humanity! I’m all knowing and important!” Vibes coming from that statement.

Unless these thoughts and statements are coming from someone in a position of power to do anything and affect change, its just another internet keyboard warrior saying 'its so simple guys!! Just do X, Y, Z and all will be well!

  • My understanding of the situation, was they lost a lot of customers as companies stopped making things repairable, and designed planned obsolesance into their products. Then as their customer base started getting more busy with work, getting richer and getting older, they just stopped repairing things, opting to throw it out and buy new to save time, or because they had disposable income. Then because of a smaller customer base they started branching out to make a quick buck in other ways like selling you cell phones instead of electronics and repair parts. And then as the newer generations grew up, the radioshacks didn’t really have any repair parts for today’s electronics. They’d don’t sell modern computer components, they didn’t sell cell phone screens to DIY replace, or cell phone batteries, etc. So kids didn’t grow up to become a customer either.

They should have probably pivoted HARD into cell phone repair, raspberry pi boards, etc. Desktop components, etc Instead of trying to a hock an expensive iPhone contract to 55 year old long time customers. They could have been a mini micro center or Fry’s, but instead they went the direction they did…

  • “It’s a wonderful Life”. I’m not religious but the message of the movie is very straight forward, and very important. Be a good person, always try to help others, have integrity, and try to make meaningful connections with people. You also don’t have to have a long list of accomplishments to have a meaningful life, as long you positively affect others, you’ve done good.

It’s a wonderful life used to be my favorite movie to watch around Christmas time, to remind myself of whats important in life, but now I’ve added:

The movie “About Time”. Slow down. Savor, and enjoy life. Most days I forget about the message of that movie, but I try to remind myself every now and then. It hits especially hard now as my father passed away at 80 last year.
