Most of them? Ever heard of a Surface Pro? The new Minisforum V3? Lenovo makes them. Dell makes them. etc. etc.

A table is typically an ARM based platform
No, it is absolutely not…
A tablet is nothing more than a computer with a detachable keyboard… What does it not cover?
What makes this app unique is that it doesn’t rely on messaging servers to function.
Okay, well, that sounds like a drawback to me?
some says something factually wrong
Never Happened
gets corrected
Also never happenened
then the argument of “you just try to dunk on my for fake internet points” come up… sigh
People will stop saying it when it stops being true.
You didn’t list a single reason why you CAN’T hook up any PC with Linux and create a “console”.
Once again with the strawman. Scroll up and read again. I know this is the conversation you may have been having in your head that you were “winning”, but it’s not the one that is taking place here. I’ll go ahead and ignore the rest of your comment since it’s predicated on a statement no one made.
The point is you can’t just slap any old Linux distro on any old laptop and Bob’s Your Uncle, it’s a Steam Deck, as was casually stated in the comment I initially replied to. There’s a lot more work involved, and even then you lack much of the hardware that makes the SD special.
LOL no, that’s absolutely not true.
I don’t understand why you’re telling me this. Are you under the impression that a tablet is not a computer?
But in all seriousness, you’re completly wrong here…But everything that makes out the steamdeck is definetely not exclusive to its hardware.
Yes, I would be wrong, had that been what I said, but it isn’t. In fact I very clearly listed several software requirements that you’re just intentionally ignoring in a poor attempt to “dunk” on me and score fake internet points.
You 100% can just hook up any PC, be it some minisforum mini pc, a laptop or a off the shelf gaming PC, install literally any linux on it and within a few hours of installing and configuring stuff - you can make your own “steamdeck”.
No you cant. I just listed a dozen reasons why that isn’t true, you argued with one and declared that I was wrong while completely ignoring the rest.
I assume you just don’t have any real-world experience with setting something like this up.
Well you know what happens when you assume. You make an ass of yourself. I have a Steam Deck, and a desktop PC running Bazzite. The sleep function does not work.
The “biggest power” is the unique first-party processor it uses, the touch pads, the Steam Input configuration, Gamescope, sleep/resume function (tied to the processor) and the direct launch into Big Picture mode. Not to mention hardware that’s simply guaranteed to work with Linux/Steam. All things installing any old Linux distro won’t suddenly provide you.
No, he does not have the authority to give himself the authority to cancel the election.
I don’t understand any of these words and they all sound super made-up and ridiculous.
What is to stop Biden from cancelling the upcoming election?
Uhhhh he literally can’t. Not because it’s a crime, but because it’s not within his authority. This doesn’t just give them carte blanche to do whatever they want, it just means they can’t be charged with a crime.
None of that happened.
I didn’t ask for anything…
That’s is not correct.
LOL that’s a lot of ifs…
And you left out the part about launching into big picture mode.
WAIT I CAN JUST INSTALL LINUX ON THE LAPTOP AND IT TRANSFORMS INTO A STEAM DECK!?
Trump’s election had an enormous impact that seems to have survived his Presidency, and will continue to do so for decades to come.
Apple does not have on device AI in production today
Nor does Google. It says right on this page:
Later this year, Pixel and Android users will be the first to experience its new multimodal capabilities.
The Minisforum has had some solid reviews and also has good Linux compatibility, if that interests you at all.
