Very understandable that song is awesome
I basically listened to it on loop for a week and ruined the effect

Can it not be powered via the same cable the display goes over? I only have one usb c port and would rather not have multiple cables for it at all if I can help it
Do you use an autotiler out of curiosity? I found since using a tiling wm I don’t use my extra monitors nearly as much
Yep that it is. To be honest can live with an external one, the main thing is keeping it in the same bag as the laptop and not needing an extra power supply adding weight
They specifically mentioned alacritty which is a terminal emulator
I get what you mean but it’s already clunky and bulky, it’s a p50
What’s a PITA sorry? Never heard of that
I’ve used pantheon on nix before and it worked perfectly, can’t say for other distros
Ahh perfect the desktop shortcut thing was what I was worried about, doesn’t seem like an ideal solution
Props to you for making it work with the launchers directly
I like appimages because they’re just a single file/dir and I know where it is on my filesystem at a glance Could also probably add an appimage to bin pretty trivially
If something isn’t on nixpkgs and doesn’t have an appimage I generally just don’t use it lol gotta be the biggest package repo excepting maybe the aur
That looks awesome I’ll have to give it a go
I guess it just launches the games via the shortcut the same way rofi normally works?
I use kitty as my term, I am a little jealous of some of the warp features though.
Wave has some cool features too though feels very clunky and busy ui
VM is probably the answer as long as your machine can run one well enough.
Listen we all know deep down the solution is to try to parse it with regex
I’m one of those people, they make a surprisingly good combo
If you’re doing nix right it doesn’t matter how unstable something is if it’s borked you just revert it
Have generally found hyprland to be pretty stable anyway though as long as you’re not on the unstable nix channel
Pretty sure a lot of the people here are deathly allergic to anything meta. I know a couple people irl who just get on and use it also
The app knows if location permission has been denied though
They released their desktop environment publicly, which imo was the main reason to use it
I never found elementary really worked that well for me, though pantheon is lovely
You’re probably right but it wouldn’t be a clean implementation for the os to do it. If it was more universal and better documented app devs could just put notices in themselves
How does its startup time compare to other launchers (rofi or tofi for example)
