I got laid off and looked into the COBRA offering. Sorry, but I’m not paying $758 a MONTH for coverage. NOPE.
Omnist and Mystic
I am currently learning how to explore the Akashic Records, and in my free time, I enjoy reading stories on AO3, especially set in the Human Domestication Guide universe.

Detail view forever.
I am using Bluefin, based on Fedora Silverblue. I realized that I was already exclusively using flatpaks for everything except one random app, so I thought why not go all-in?
Haven’t had to worry about updates or system breakages since, and it’s been great so far.
I used to use Debian Stable, but since doing SysAdmin work I’ve just become used to the way Fedora / RHEL does things.
Holy crap. Use the Tab Stash extension. Separate tabs into windows and stash the entire window. It will save them all to a group or collection that you can name, and you can go back and reopen them when needed.
Seriously, I can’t imagine how outdated your browser is if you never close it, not to mention the last time you restarted your computer. You’re one power failure away from chaos.
If you also get the xBrowserSync extension, you can back up all your bookmarks and tabs so if your computer ever dies you can restore it to a new browser install.
I mean liberalism in the sense of support for things like private property, liberal ‘western’ democracy and an exploitative, laissez-faire approach to market economies. I am American; perhaps I’m just not understanding the varied meaning of the word?
Liberals are incapable of intelligent conversation with others, especially those of opposing viewpoints. They’ve been trained to desire and maintain the status quo (Capital), even in the face of creeping fascism, and will parrot insults at anyone who doesn’t tow the line. ‘Tankie’ is just the newest term.
It’s just western red scare paranoia with a millennial twist. I hadn’t peeked at those communities before, but I’ll make sure they’re given a wide berth now.
Thanks for reminding me of this. My COBRA coverage was asking $758 a month. I found a 0 deductible plan on healthcare.gov for $370. If I don’t get a job by the end of this month, I’ll sign up for that.
