Do we know what moderate means?
Hair iron? Is that another name for hair straigtheners?

Isn’t the new Digg significantly younger though?
That isn’t rust on the roundabout, it’s dried blood.

sometimes now

We heard this last night. We live under a flight corridor and not that far from Manchester & Liverpool so it’s not too unusual to hear air traffic, but this was extremely loud and lasted for about 10 minutes. Checked Flight Radar and there were two USAF refueling jets overhead, although it didn’t show any other jets.

Why don’t the fly tippers just take it to the tip?

More live F1 on channel 4 please!
I think that’s the result of dependency injection.

Reading the article, it sounds like the document they sent to the printing company had the legally required asset, but the printing company changed the font which caused it not to print.
I’m assuming that they had someone from the printing company give evidence showing that it was their error and that the judge didn’t just take Reforms lawyer for their word… I hope.

The posts I see regarding the genocide in Sudan are always void of comments. Why isn’t there the same anti genocide energy that Palestine (deservedly) gets?
I sometimes think people love to hate the perpetrators more than they care about the victims of genocide.

Go ask Alice

I’d just go ahead and do it :)

I try it every now and again but I simply don’t “get” the format. This isn’t an issue wtih Mastodon, it’s just that style of social media, I had the same issue with Twitter. The vast majority of content seems to be people just dumping their thoughts into a post. I think it’s because I have no interest in following people, but topics, which I find that Lemmy/Reddit easier to follow.
I don’t think there’s one thing I like about this. Everything, literally everything is awful.
Do you cut your grass in winter? I haven’t cut ours since October, it barely grows enough to warrant cutting it!

I like the idea of moving things up north, but I’m not sure if it’s really practical given that Whitehall is in London and other key departments.
Given that we wouldn’t let the US launch attacks from UK bases I’m inclined this to be true. It doesn’t make much sense to refuse an attack from our soil but then go and do it ourselves anyway.
The way I’m reading it is that we’re defending UK assets and allies in the area. As long as we’re not defending Israel then I think that’s an ok position. They can absolutely go fuck themselves. It would be categorically unacceptable if we were involved in aiding the attacks in any way though. I think Labour have too much to loose if it turned out Starmer was lying about this.
