Your original post suggests there is some fundamental inconsistency with two sets of positions you attribute to Democrats:

1.) weed should be legal vs it has a negative effect on people (i.e. “makes them losers”) 2.) people should “follow their dreams” vs some people with power and money (who I guess followed their dreams) are “losers”.

Neither belief seems to necessarily exclude the other, so it’s a very confusing statement to me.

Believe it or not, you can think that something is bad for people without thinking it should be illegal.

Also, yes, you can have money and power and still be a giant fucking loser. If you achieve those things, it matters what you do with it.
