Well shit. That actually kinda sucks.
Well shit. That actually kinda sucks.
So you don’t like comic cons (they have other things at those events besides manga and comics) but you know the language the NPCs speak in a video game?
You should honestly fit right the fuck in at one of those. Honestly, the awkward self-pity already does. I meet so many people who are incredibly shy/awkward/what-have-you show up and it’s actually their first one, and they always end up having an absolute blast.
You’re surrounded by like-minded people who are just there to nerd out and have fun with their community. And sometimes the costumes can actually be amazing.
Lol damn, my job is to go to comic conventions and deal with all the weirdos (I don’t mean that in a negative way; I’m a fuckin weirdo too) almost every weekend.
I was in South Carolina this weekend, currently staying in a hotel on my way back home. Then next weekend I get to drive back out this same way to Knoxville for a show.
Edited to add: STOP BEING SHITTY, OP. Goddamn you’re fuckin insufferable. Why even waste the time on this post if you’re not gonna do anything about your life?
And BallisticNG is only $10.50 on steam right now, so thanks for that.
It could be Borderlands. They did the first one, didn’t they?
But also, why re-remaster a game? In the article they say “it’s been ten years since the BioShock trilogy was remastered, and it’s about time for another go.” Paraphrased, but that’s basically what it said.
What, those porn SFMs of Mario and other Nintendo characters fucking each other’s brains out are gonna get DMCAd?
I know when I was a kid I always wanted to sneak out (to the other room) and play more games after bed. A couple times Many times I did. And I got caught, and got in trouble.
Just save a lot, but yes. It does take a little getting used to it.
Imo General Sam’s Kenshi series is a fantastic introduction to the game, because it was mine lol
Kenshi is infinitely replayable, imo.
From the alternate starts, to the different ways you can even play the game (wanna be a lone trader, traveling from town to town buying and selling goods? Want to be the ultimate warrior who can go toe-to-toe with the Spider King? Wanna build a city/outpost where you can be totally sufficient and build up your own personal army to take over the world?), to the sheer size of the world. Plus all the awesome mods that can add so much to the game that already has a lot. You start off with your skills at 0 or in the low tens, and you will get your ass handed to you on an iron platter until you actually train up a bit; but even a high or max level character can still get fucked up by the wrong group of enemies.
I have mods that add a couple new factions (the fungoids are OP), flesh other factions out a bit more with more weapons and gear, and other building mods and some QoL mods so I can truly tailor my experience how I like it.
It plays kinda like an RTS with a mix of RPG elements.
There’s a multiplayer stealth game called Intruder that I think uses some of those mechanics. I know it’s all stealth-based and you have all kinds of gadgets and tools, like cameras and banana peels for people to slip on. You can crawl through vents, most of the guns are silenced, and you can communicate with your team via snaps.
How much you wanna bet the online portion of GTA6 is gonna be like a “story mode lite” kinda like in 5?
I remember seeing a big booth for this at San Diego Comic-Con last year.
Fuck live service games. Everyone hates live service games.
Texas highways are fucking terrible.
And I’m gonna have to deal with them in a couple weeks.
I mean, yes the facial animations (although I’ll say the subtle/weird faces worked for that one murderer dude) but also Ashly Burch/A lot in general. I know she’s a fantastic VA, so it might have just been the direction or something, but in the second her voice feels more emotional
Performance isn’t too bad, I haven’t really run into many bugs this time around. Granted the only major bug I experienced in my first playthrough was incomplete bounties, this time around one time I fell through the ship when I was trying to use the workbench and I couldn’t respawn normally so I had to exit the game. I just had to restart and it loaded me right in the shop no problem.
To me she seemed incredibly stiff and wooden in the first game, with only a couple moments where she really emoted.
I watched a bit of the second one, and it seems like they characterized her a lot more this time around, especially during the first fight with the giant snake robot.
I know that’s what happened with Anger Foot
They have all the super indies. Juice Galaxy is on there, so is Manic Miners which is a fan remake of the old Lego Rock Raiders game, and it’s honestly awesome.
We’ve already been there for a few years now. We’re getting robots these days, even; with guns!
