I mean it’d be great to see some of these ‘public facts’ you mention. I’m not necessarily questioning the veracity of your claims, but this does ironically somewhat come across as a AI written fever-dream without some supporting evidence.

Anarchism@lemmy.ml•#TeslaTakedown Protests Grow as Proud Boys and White Supremacists Fail to Intimidate Demonstrators off the Streets0·26 days agoProud Boys has to be the dumbest fucking name for a fascist militant organisation ever. Every time I hear it it just sounds completely ridiculous. How can they use it with a straight face? “Hi, I’m a Proud Boy!”. Fucking dipshits.
But it’s literally based off of a cartoon with a man in a suit, though: https://www.insidehook.com/culture/story-tom-toro-new-yorker-climate-cartoon
Add a decent slice of Cheddar and you’ve got yourself a proper sandwich there.
No, quite the opposite.
Honestly, I find the vast majority of the arguments against it to be be made from a point of ignorance, propagated by a rabid sub-set of artists looking to generate clicks for their sensationalist YouTube videos.

PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•Life is Strange: Double Exposure reportedly a 'large loss' for Square Enix, says analyst, who adds: 'The company's IP fundamentally varies too much between good and bad'English0·1 month agoAs I understand it the game largely ignores a pretty big decision that was made at the end of Life is Strange 1, and also breaks up a major relationship with basically no real explanation. Consequently I think it was boycotted by angry fans, which might explain it’s poor sales.

Negative news has a greater impact on people than positive: https://assets.csom.umn.edu/assets/71516.pdf
Media sites know this, and use it to drive engagement:
