Can you point to the quote where he says Ukraine should give up and what they should give up to make peace?
Former U.K. Labour Leader Corbyn: Ukraine War Is ‘Disgraceful’ And Russia’s ‘Wrong At Every Level’
really parroting Putin’s talking points there
Generally most people like to think they are better than murders and rapists, so sinking to their level isnt ideal.

In first past the post elections “a majority of X” means the winner got X more votes than the second place. Words can have multiple ways of being used.
So why did you say that 20,000 was far too small a sample for Europe if you accept the maths which shows that that size sample gives <1% margin of error for that sample size?
Do those lies include tricking professional mathematicians into thinking their lies are actually formally proved mathematics?
It is, population size has essentially no effect on statistical significance of a sample (other than amplifying it as you start to sample most of the population). 20,000 people is massive and will give you sub 1% confidence ranges. The difficulty is ensuring you have a representative sample (no one does) and correcting for the biases you do have in your sample.
Do you really think the huge polling industry is unaware of basic statistics and your dividing the sample size by the population would come as a revaltion to them?
The stupid thing is that the UK is literally running out of prison spaces currently so that we are considering letting long term prisioners out on licence early to free up room.
Yet apparently this man needs to have his life turned upsidedown in order to occupy one of those spaces for four months.
Starmer tried to court Murdoch hard, but apparently Murdoch holds a grudge that it was Starmer as DPP who prosecuted the phone hacking crimes and got Andy Coulson convicted and has refused to have anything to do with him.
Did you missread what i said or just choose to argue against what you wanted to read? I even included the words “obviously killing them would be wrong”, and its not like that was burried in dozens of lines nobody will read through.
I suggested showing the judge he could be targeted with his own ruling not killing him.
I mean, apparently he could now order a hit team to burst into Robert’s house at night, put a gun to his his head and say “Joe sends his completely legal regards” before leaving. Obviously killing them would be wrong but maybe it wouldnt be so bad to make them feel a bit of what they are unleashing, since conservatives often dont have empathy for things that dont happen to them or those close to them.
Fwiw around 70 macronist 3rd place candidates have dropped out compared 110 popular front ones, which is roughly proportional to their votes.
Ukrain is a country of 40 million people, with millions already internally displaced from the war. A few thousand extra refugees wouldnt even be noticed.
Also China, Korea (Both), Israel, India, Brasil. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convention_on_Cluster_Munitions
But apart from that ALL the major countries
I just dont see it. All the indicators are showing a siesmic labour victory and have been for a long time. Not just voting intention but “who do you want as a prime minister” “who do you trust on the economy/NHS/cost of living”, local elections, by-elections, a fractured right wing vote, poor recent economic performance, an extremely bad campaign by Sunak highlighting the worst aspects of the tories.
I just dont see how all that doesnt result in a huge Labour victory, the tories have even shifted their campaigning message to “dont let labour win too big and give them a blank cheque to do whatever they like”
Stupid people also often overcompensate trying to make others looks stupid.
yes, but Smith’s Labour hadnt been 20 points ahead for over a year with less than 2 weeks to go to the election
Worth pointing out that the author of this piece is labours campaign manager. Its absolutely in his interest to try and make out that it isnt in the bag for labour as lower turn out if people think its a done deal could be the difference between a huge and crushing victory for labour.
That said if you live in a seat where the Tories are incumbents or closest chalenger you should absolutly vote for whoever is best placed to win against them no matter what you think the result will be. They need to be crushed this election.
the first one
He is critical of supplying arms and not looking for a peaceful solution, but that is not calling for a withdrawal of Aid despite the Guardian’s framing.
The second is from 2014 in which he says:
Nowhere in that second article does he say Ukraine should cede Crimea, he just gives a factual account of if being transferred from the Russian to the Ukrainian SSR. I’m really not seeing any simping for Putin here.
To be clear, I dont agree with Corbyn’s stance personally, I believe Russia is an expansionist imperialist power than needs to be stopped by force now that it has overstepped the line and launched a military invasion of a neighbor. But having a different view (as he does does that more effort should be put onto brokering a peace deal) not equate to being a patsy for a dictator.
