I got the kit for a good deal ($45 CAD +15 shipping) and figured I would fart around with it… I’m now realising I should probably get some smaller nvmes first to play around with this and then setup something with ssd’s instead for my mass cloud storage

Sorry, I don’t think I worded that properly, these are mew drives I got off amazon, 4tb for $65 each. i’m running a test to see if they’re any good or pure garbage using an old computer at work 😅

I figure it could be mislabeled 1tb or 500gb drives, but I should be able to return them through amazon if it’s not the right thing advertised.

I’ll get a cheapo nvme nvne enclosure to test it first.
