If it’s just fries, then nothing other than salt.
Otherwise, cheese curds and gravy.

A lot of it has been family and college. The college I attended has a research group that allows students to do internships.
The college also runs job fairs every one in a while. Those kinds of things I huge.
Conventions of any kind as well, where you can speak to people in booths, or even any of the other attendees.
I’ve never had to do a job interview. 5 different jobs, all word of mouth.
Used to use android, but switched to iPhone when the 12 came out. I simply don’t care about the flexibility anymore… I used to tinker a lot, but now I personally don’t find it amusing. And even if I did want to tinker, the Shortcuts app provides a lot of cool features. iOS is refined, sleek, and I enjoy the UI. AirPlay works miles better than anything on android. CarPlay is a better experience. The ecosystem just works. Apple Maps street view is available in places google maps isn’t. I’m currently on the 15 pro max, and the design and feel of the phone is awesome. Probably a handful of other things that don’t immediately come to mind.
We pay for things with plastic.
Robot chicken. Now, I usually have on some kind of space documentary, creepypasta or some long gameplay videos.
My cat has not once tried unraveling a toilet paper roll. He has stolen money before, but he steals shit, so that’s normal. But never toilet paper.
I’ve completed GTA 5 a handful of times, so I’m hoping that because it’s a rockstar game, I’ll be able to finish it… But only time will tell.
Anytime I finish a game is a pretty big achievement. Lots of games I play and just either get bored of or forget about. Stray, Cyberpunk, Subnautica, Outer Wilds, etc… I just can’t seem to finish games. I’m now trying to play RDR2, so hopefully I can complete it. Hogwarts Legacy is the latest game I’ve fully completed (last year), but I’m a huge fan of Harry Potter, so I feel like that helped.
As someone who likes bird photography and spent half his life skateboarding, this is such a badass photo.
I figured the title was going to confuse some people haha. I was going to just put “Painted Turtle,” but I felt like that would confuse people even more since there isn’t any turtle that is painted, but it is the actual species name of this particular turtle.
A free for all, late Friday deployment is baffling… We’ve got a strict window of Tuesday-Thursday for releases (unless it’s a critical issue), and a 2-3 day merge freeze to help mitigate unexpected changes.
We’ve got a relatively small team with LOTS of moving parts, so minimizing deployment issues is always top of mind.
A large majority of modern web applications are built with Javascript… Both frontend and backend. You do still have a large majority of websites using plain HTML or PHP, with some features requiring JS to function (modals, realtime stats, data input, etc).
You also have alternative languages like Java or C# (and more), but also may use bits of JS on the frontend to drive functionality.
You can bet that the majority of websites you visit nowadays will use some form of JS, unless it’s a static webpage to display basic information.
