I saw one the other day in the wild that had a huge orange “CYBERTRUCK” sticker in faux-graffiti lettering across the back. In case anyone had any doubts!

Apple is horrible to work with as a dev. Some friends and I released an indie mobile game a while back and the approval process was full of such petty stuff that we had to explain to them why it was fine again and again. They suck.
My weird thing is I always carry fingernail clippers. I started doing it because I have a bad habit of picking at my cuticles, and it helps to keep my nails trimmed. I’ve learned that it’s a weirdly useful tool, though. It can cut things in a pinch, but no one sees it as something dangerous needing to be confiscated for example.
That far right one is almost self awarewolves level
All I’m learning from this thread is that no one can tell any consistent signs.
I didn’t realize there was a sequel in the works. I hope they learned some lessons from the first one, because it almost excellent, but in the end it couldn’t get past good for me.
If you’re in a place they ship to, check out these guys. Oolong specialist tea shop in Seattle that has some of the best quality tea I’ve ever had. It’s a really small operation, too, with people who really love what they do: https://floatingleaves.com/
I didn’t know baron harkonnen was a fan
I think it would be more likely bots would flood instances with posts at a level that was unrealistic for the small scale admins we currently have to combat.
Ele is definitely cool looking, too. I just don’t vibe with ele in general as much as ranger I think. I’ve always been more into doing one element in games so the GW2 ele was never quite my jam with all the switching.
I know a lot of people were panning warrior, but I’m waiting to see what it feels like. I don’t think it’s wrong to have some simpler designs too, and for me at least I prefer that a lot of the time.
Same with Rev, I know people felt like it was a little weaker than others but I think it might be pretty fun. The only thing I was thinking about that one was the spammable main skill should be on 2 or 3, not 5.
Ranger is probably my top pick out of the whole thing.
Engie was the weakest for me. I just don’t get how it fits the class fantasy at all. The visuals almost look more like warrior to me, and there’s almost no gadget theme at all.
How much is a human bite?
Glad I’m not the only one who couldn’t figure that out lmao
Oooooh got it! That’s cool actually I had no idea. I imagine she’s pretty mutually exclusive with some of the others.
I’ll be honest, I don’t even remember who Minthara is, so I definitely didn’t get her either.
Kadokawa, the people who make RPG Maker?
In my playthrough (which I’m still working through so no act 3 spoilers please), I couldn’t figure out how to open the pod she was in at first. I ended up shooting something overhead which fell and put caustic brine everywhere. When I finally opened the pod she jumped out and immediately died to the brine. I’ve never actually heard her speak 😅
Yeah, these tools would be a lot better if they could say “I don’t know” more.
Yeah, AI was ok, but have you tried AII?
So I haven’t played this game, but I think what you’re feeling makes sense.
I think for many players, myself included, they aren’t looking to have their teeth kicked in. They also aren’t looking for a walk in the park, though. Unfortunately, many games’ handicap systems (handicap meaning a mechanism that gives the player an added advantage) make it very all or nothing. It’s either super difficult, or braindead easy. I’m not saying that no one enjoys playing a game that is basically on rails and un-failable, some definitely do, but I think it’s reasonable to say many players want to be met at their edge.
The problem as a designer is everyone has a different edge, and the edge won’t even be the same for different activities when it’s the same player playing. You might get frustrated by a boss, but absolutely love meticulously exploring an environment, or thinking through a challenging logic puzzle. Others are the reverse.
I don’t really have a point to this comment, but I’m a game designer and find this stuff really interesting. It’s a very hard problem to solve but I think what you’re feeling is completely understandable. If I were you I would feel a little robbed, too!
