Not to mention my saved places aren’t permanent markers in the map. I’ll zoom in, still can’t see it. Search for it, oh look, there it is, right where I was zoomed in

It’s what different parts of the world call a reverse cycle, split system air conditioner.
It’s actually loud because it’s so busy there. You could even say it’s the dead center of town.
My 4 year old is gen alpha. So I’m kind of glad adults on the internet don’t relate to that generation yet
This comment thread could also apply to global warming. Glad to see we are learning from our mistakes.

Australia has this too and we don’t have as good public transport as you. You can’t even drop off nearby. Basically, everyone is on buses to car parks away (schools and other places are used) or train stations. It’s a pain in the butt, but a way of life if you want to watch a game. Tickets at these stadiums include free public transport for the afternoon, so it’s included in the price.
I’d feel happy with those on my head too
Scrape. Spot clean by hand with soap. Machine wash. Hang in full sun for the minimum of 1 day. Extra points for rotating to face the sun as it moves.

Or phone if you have contactless payments on it
Dried plums are more commonly known as prunes. So that part at least wouldn’t be too expensive.
I was also unimpressed. It was so long ago we went so I can’t remember specifics, but I won’t be choosing to go back there.
Edit:this is a Melbourne thread, I visited a QLD store
When my neighbours moved in they rekeyed the whole house. Screen doors, sliding doors, solid doors, window locks… everything. They now have 1 key for their entire house. I think it’s a great idea, but I didn’t ask how much it cost.
And in Asian noodle salads. Have to be toasted though
For me, I love having something to stick on in the background, to occasionally watch. The kids love the idea of the best of the best smashing it out too.
I don’t know how it works (I’m not the tech one in the relationship), but I’ve been using family sharing for years with my partner
That’s a really interesting point. Maybe because the North Korean govt is seen as persecuting it’s citizens. Therefore it’s citizens are seen as the victims (despite some citizens being the perpetrators).
Whereas Russian citizens are seen as the perpetrators (as invading soldiers) along with the leadership and surrounding countries are seen as the victims.
Genuine question. GPs complain about the complexity of cases increasing and therefore higher Medicare rates should apply. While I completely agree with this (my GP 1000% needs to be paid more), shouldn’t that mean that they like low complexity visits like this? Bring someone in, sign med cert, you are on your way. They have probably spent 5-10mins of a 15min appointment and can use that time to catch up.
When I quit my supermarket job after getting my accounting degree my manager tried to convince me to stay, saying they had plans to promote me into management and eventually I could work my way into a head office position.
Umm, no thanks, I think I’ll take the job that I’ve been working towards getting for years.
If you are actually interested there was movement, not sure if still going, a few years ago called financial independence. It was r/financialindependence. One of their influencers was Mr Money Moustache. You can look that up if you want
Your public toilets are not private. There should never be a gap around the door. The height should be above what any reasonable person would grow to, and the lower height of the door should hide the person’s feet on the toilet unless you crouch down. It’s weird and very off putting to use one
