Could move the Crying Chair into the corner, and then you have a more open space in the middle of the room for Crying while Lying on the Floor

I wish… 3 countries on, I haven’t even been in the same town as him since I think 2006 at the latest. Don’t even think I had access to the internet at that time.
Personal Rant Time
Looking back, I think he grew up with a single parent. My parents split up after I finished school/reached adulthood.
Chatting to others who had ‘less than optimal parents’ I noticed that even though some had parents who split up at one point, its different when you are 6-8 years old, and you learn to live with it.
And when you are 18-20 years old, getting ready to move out, and then you learn your entire childhood was a lie.
Totally unrelated, but is Crash Out the new teen phrase of “getting mad”.
2-3 weeks ago my students were using it almost daily. Then this week i got a chance to see one of them browsing YouTube shorts (amazing what is happening there) and hear the phrase " crash out" every 5th -ish short.
(glad to see King Bach is still popular, even if its the same vines reposted by new channels with that top 5 fomrat)
I went to my rich friends house for the PS2. EyeToy and Spy Kids 3d was the coolest thing ever.
OK, proton isn’t perfect. I don’t like the All In One App, but its better than Google…
And the free service of email and minimal VPN is still a great entry for those trying to break away from Goole services
Wait. This is the shitpost community? What is this here???

I don’t want to oversimplify it (its a great watch/listen. Great when cleaning the house as background audio)
But it can be simpleified to
"rich guys bought into cryto. Cryto became mainly for drugs. Silk road dead. No use for cryto. Push NFTs, where the only way to buy in is with Cryto. Normie’s buy into NFTs. Cryto value goes up. Rich guys can sell at a good price.

Sure this few days/weeks switching will be hard. But one day it will click and you realise how much you are doing without worying about what microsoft is doing to your machine.

Never mind. I just tried rock climbing. I failed even the easiest level and my arms are paining. But that dopamine in my brain is saying “more…”
100% alcoholism can break up families. Drunk driving also takes lives.
And what’s even worse, (I did the math last night) a pack of cigarettes can last you a week? And that’s 50 AUD.
I Spent that on ONE nights dinner, let alone the extra drinks after.
So mathematically and logicly, I should be switching to cigarettes…

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What tourist destinations do you think are NOT overrated?
0·1 month agoIve been living in Outback Auatralia for almost 14 years. Got to visit Uluru once.
Took my breath away when it came into view. Over 1000km (thibknitsncloser to 1500km) away from the ocean. Middle of nowhere. A massive rock just sitting there. Of course you feel a spiritual connection.
I don’t fully understand the cultural significance behind it, but I 110% respect the owners of the land, and what they believe in.
I vaguely rember Catherine the Great*, but I dont remember anything about a horse.
I am ready to learn though
*
Was she after Henry the 8th? The first Queen to rule without a king by her side?
I am semi looking forward to Project Hail Mary (love the book. Hate the trailer for spoiling so much).
If I see a Papyrus reference before the movie, I’m going to be laughing every time Gosling gets annoyed at the science in the movie xd
