I should probably bring up this will be my first non-systemd distro. (Maybe I should have looked at Artix first. But too late)

The same week that Apple opened up users iCloud to the UK police, 2 co-workers were talking about upgrading thier iPhone. Took alot of restraint to not butt in and “well actually” them.

The way i see it, the fact that we all are on open-source reddit alternatives means that we are all unique in our own ways.

Reddit was already a nieche social media platform. Then lemmy is the nieche of a nieche. So yes, we all have unique likes and hobbies.

Its been a few years since i worked in fast food/drive thru. But the highlight of my time there was when a car refused to take thier receipt. Literally threw it back at me when i gave them thier drink + reciept. (reciepts are given to all cars incase of an order mix up)

Walked over to the other window, and put the reciept in the bag with thier food.

I started. Got a headache. Maybe its just user error and i didnt read the full handbook before starting, or just a very wordy handbook, but each step lists the systemd steps AND the openrc steps. Instead of one book for just openrc and another for systemd.

Will read again tomorrow, and spin up another vm next weekend for attempt number 2
