That thing you practice “imagining other people as you” thats empathy. Putting your mind in thier point of view and perceiving their perspective lets you understand what they are going through. Everyone has problems, when you find somone with the patience to learn how to love you the way you need, learn to love them the way they need to be loved. Its not NPD to love yourself.

Working at a studio sound stage we had catered lunches from a 3rd party ( not the meal truck that follows the main unit) one day we had ravioli. It went down without an issues but that evening and all night it was coming out both ends. About 30+ other people all got it bad. Needless to say we switched caterers.
