Traffick Cam: Help combat sex trafficking by uploading photos of hotel rooms from your travels
Traffickers regularly post photographs of their victims posed in hotel rooms for online advertisements. These photographs are evidence that can be used to find and prosecute the perpetrators of these crimes. In order to use these photos, however, investigators must be able to determine where the photos were taken.

P is the Proportional Limit, where it stops being linear, but remains elastic for a short while longer, meaning any deformation can still be recovered. E is the Elastic Limit, where it changes from elastic to plastic
There’s lots of areas with clusters close together, lots of parks worth visiting! If you’re new, I’d recommend sticking to larger sizes (i.e. not micro) as well as low difficulty rating. And caches in the woods might be easier than urban hides to start off
BC’s oldest cache, from February 2001, is an ammo can in Pacific Spirit Park near UBC: https://coord.info/GC1DD
Yes! Tons of great caches nearby to explore. Personally, I think anything put out by layzee_bones is worth finding. Is there any type of cache in particular you’re interested in? Or just starting out in the hobby?

I’m sorry WHAT
The same experience, sadly (Fairphone 2). I also bought mine used (so it may have had a long life before that), replaced the battery, and shortly after had enough components fail at the same time to make it not worth fixing. Mostly touchscreen problems and slowness. Shortly after I moved to a new country and found it couldn’t connect to the cell network there (even with a new SIM card) so that was the end of it.
It’s a real shame, I love the concept of it
