Sort of. They are used to question logic, question reality, train the mind in order to reach enlightenment.

Western philosophy is very different from Eastern philosophy.

To be real, a lot of philosophical thought begins with a question. What is my purpose in the world, what is mankind’s purpose in the universe, how large is the universe, are we living in a simulation. Then you start exploring those thoughts and expressing what you found in the thoughts that you experienced.

Ponder some existential conundrum such as which came first, the chicken or the egg?

Nope, I just checked. Apparently, you can’t say anything good about Linux. Seems like a useless waste of time but, whatever. If I got banned from that site I would consider it a blessing.

I’m not sure if it’s related but there was an annual symposium called “Linux Sucks”. It was a gathering of mostly Linux developers. The idea was to find the ways Linux sucks and develop ideas to fix the suck.

There are some Independent News sources I like: Al Jazeera, the Associated Press, Consortium News, All Sides, Reuters, Truthout, NPR, and Propublica.

I wouldn’t mind paying for quality content, but usually you end up paying for crap and seeing ads too. So now the corporate media is double dipping right out of your wallet. Journalism is dead and we’re probably never getting it back.

I would assume you might have trouble since most of the planets are part of the federation and they have already communicated with them and so they would be wondering who the heck you are.

I would rather have ads. If I were to subscribe to every website that asked me to subscribe I would be paying $1,000 a month.

It saddens me to know that 68% of my country are a bunch of racists.

They believe they are living in a godless country. Liberals are out to destroy America with their evil atheist ways. They believe liberals are destroying traditional family values. They believe liberals want open borders so all the immigrants will vote for them. They believe those immigrants are all gang members just waiting to kill God fearing Christians. They believe this is a Christian country. They believe abortion is murder. Finally, they believe Trump is the only one who can save the country.

That’s kind of like, “What came first, the chicken or the egg?” It seems to me that when you give a regular person a bunch of money, like winning the lottery, they tend to go kind of nuts with it. So in that way, it seems that money is corrupting them. If you have some kind of ultra-rich person who loves money and power, then they’re already corrupt because of power and money.

It’s getting hot in here. Must be at least 451 degrees!

They should add a bunch of people who can’t dance dancing around like idiots.
