I don’t want to look in Mastodon for the posts I saw doing this as it would take some time, but here is an example from my experience on Lemmy.

I posted it for the sake of alerting people here.

I believe that people here are smart enough to not fall for Bitdefender marketing.

I am not a researcher here, I am talking as a person surfing social media and laying down his observations.

I am not saying this as a person who analyzed thousands of posts to come with this.

I thought this is a basic concept given in my post.
