The goal wasn’t to encourage extraction, it was to prevent over-extraction.
I live in a National Forest that hasn’t had any large-scale commercial logging conducted in it for many decades. It has multiple designated Wilderness areas, and is primarily used for recreation. The major distinction between it and a National Park is that you’re permitted to drive motorized vehicles on the existing logging roads, and collect firewood with a permit.

Would you elaborate on how Nintendo has been damaged by having the deportation of immigrants associated with their franchise that teaches children the joys of enslaving wild animals for blood sport?

In fact, I’ve increased the amount of things I memorize. In addition to the massive amount of usernames and passwords I have to keep in mind, I have credit card and bank routing and account numbers memorized so I can enter payment information on the fly.

Not true. Beltroutes and bypasses are built with exits every mile. The land along them is immediately rezoned for development. They’re always intended as (sub)urban expansion. It’s a scam to get Federal funding for local transportation infrastructure.
