Instead of getting fat really fast, you get old.
Take lessons. It doesn’t need to be weekly or even steady like when you were little. There are beginner piano lesson books tailored to adults, and having a teacher who can walk you through it, discuss your interests and goals, and answer your questions is worth the money, even if you meet once a month or just schedule per-basis when you feel ready to meet again. A local music shop can put you in touch with a teacher that knows rock.
And don’t give up when it’s hard. It’s hard to learn new skills. Trust that your brain accomplishing work in the background even when you feel like you’re not making progress, which will happen sometimes. One day you’ll wake up and find that the impossible chord progression you’ve been stuck on for weeks is a little bit easier all of the sudden, then it’s on to the next milestone.
A house centipede is just 4 spiders in a trench coat.
That’s how you know it’s accurate. Same thing happens if you use makeup remover twice on bare skin.
Do you use it for “you’re welcome”? I thought it was more of an “I accept your apology.”
For example, if someone said “sorry for the delay,” I’d say “no worries, I also ignore some emails for days or even weeks.”
The manual options are ancient - like a sickle, or a scythe or clip by hand with garden shears bent down on your knees for hours. But fuck all that, you’ll want an electric trimmer for edges.
The marimba has left the chat.
Steam, GameStop, Toys-R-Us, Walmart… Someone always makes a profit on selling games, or any products - even digital. Steam has not reinvented the wheel here. It’s not a new concept. Are you arguing that the idea of stores should be eliminated?
In return, the game is more likely to be seen, just like placing a product in a real store where people walk by it. It also gets advertised, reviewed, has another community outlet, and Steam uses their own servers and bandwidth to distribute it.
It’s not a bad deal for the devs and publishers.
I wish I could afford a Boeing, but I go to Starbucks 35,000 times a day.
This 20k would have really helped me out, but alas, morals.
First I would support campaign finance reform and watch 90% of the problems be solved.
Then I would tackle the other 10% by making voting more accessible - especially in primaries. Make it so accessible that even young voters bother to do it. That way people will choose younger reps more often.
So no, I wouldn’t support putting a bandaid on one issue and ignoring the root causes.
And by “track” you mean they’d kill you over and over till you roll human.
“if you fuck with my liberty”*
*and by liberty I mean specifically don’t talk about mass shootings during campaign season. All other liberties are fair game so don’t bother being gentle just step on me hard please I like it.
