Yeah that’s exactly it for me, I regularly switch between Dutch and English, so having to switch with a button is a nuisance. GBoard allows me to switch without any input

For reference, earths escape velocity at the surface is about 11 km/s. I’m not sure how quickly the cap would slow down, but if it hadn’t been vaporised it surely would be orbiting the sun right now.
Also, the escape velocity from the Sun at Earths distance would be 16.6 km/s on top of earths speed, so depending on the direction it could’ve escaped the suns orbit as well.
But it was most likely vaporised

Why do you have to wait a week to use the bootloader?
Its a software limitation, you can’t unlock the bootloader immediately. After a week you probably have stuff on the device so you might not want to unlock it anymore
Or it might be a security thing so retailers can’t unlock stuff they sell so easily and put their own software on it

I have also bought a bundle from the spiffing brit, which was 85 games valued at €1500 for like €40. I bought it mostly for the charity and a couple of games, so it’s very misrepresented to say I haven’t played €1500 worth of games
Soon all words will be copyrighted because they include names of companies
I don’t know either but I think they’re probably islands but just don’t reach the surface
Yeah I had to go nolife for a while with Cyberpunk, got more than 100 hours in that game, definitely a commitment, although the main story is pretty short if you just want to do that
Yeah I suppose that’s not too expensive, although it feels like a waste when I’m not using all the services provided
Nvidia is also a good option
They have a language switch button actually if you hold the space-bar, but I need it to be without having to switch manually
