It’s probably just as good. When Starsan was (temporarily) banned in Europe some time ago, a tonne of different brands popped up with similar products, but much cheaper. They all work similarly and I’ve used several of them without issues.
I’d save the money and buy something else than starsan, it’s ridiculously overpriced.
IKEA 30 years ago was also making better furniture than they are today though. All their entry-level furniture is absolute shit these days, thin veneer on cardboard strength fiber board and screws made of metal softer than warm butter.
Anything in a quality that will last more than a few years costs almost the same as any other furniture store.

50F (or 40-60F) is not the most comfortable for…well, anyone i think. Thats pretty chilly for most people, with 60F being the low side of comfortable (both inside and outside). Most universally comfortable temperature range is probably around 70-80F, which is not really “around the middle” in that 0-100 range. 70F is ideal inside temperature, 80F is a nice warm summer day outside.

Unfortunately even if this is initially processed locally, there’s a significant risk that results and/or samples are still sent back. manufacturers have shown on multiple occasions that the allure of data they can leverage is too much to resist.

You can do R&D, but you can make absolutely terrific grinders without it. Most of the “innovation” happening in this space seems to be more novelty than actual noticable performance/quality gains for the end user.
That’s not a bit hyperbolic, it’s a full blown straw man argument.
There is nothing inherently expensive in a good grinder, not from an engineering, manufacturing or materials perspective. Sure small volume manufacturing is more expensive, but we’re still talking brands making thousands of units and not small one-off productions, so it’s not that much more expensive.
I want a good grinder, and I also want to pay for quality. They simply charge more for the equipment than I believe is reasonable, because the amount of work and cost required to produce the product is fairly low.
A grinder is a pretty simple piece of equipment though, the high pricetags many go for is honstly unjustified IMO. A grinder has been a solved problem for a long time. You don’t need to invent anything new to make a great grinder and there’s no artisinal skill involved in making a good one either.
