It’s a short for uBlock Origin.
Try OuterTune (available on F-Droid). It’s a YouTube Music client without ads. And YT Music itself can be used with uBO.

That’s a normal people’s perspective.

0·12 days agoFreedom/privacy/Linux device makers are the problem, not the distros, they’re fine. I’m sure their CEOs are very knowledgable about what they’re doing. The only thing that matters for me is whether I can get them without paying customs fee at my local e-shop. There is a reason why Framework, Pine64, System76 and other privacy manufacturers are on freedom-hating social media. To get reach. So why they shouldn’t do the same with local e-stores?

Read the article first.
That’s why I went to the next level and switched all of my devices, sites and accounts to German.
Pedometers
I thought they’re used to catch pedos.
Try Anki instead of Duolingo. You’ll learn fucking nothing from it.
Also move all the proprietary software into a work profile with Shelter (available on F-Droid) just like I did.

0·14 days agoThis is what happens when you don’t split the technology and business part to two responsible persons. You can have a good product, but if I can’t get it easily into my parcel locker provided by the delivery company/local e-shop, theI won’t notice it.

0·16 days agoThe problem are not the distros, not even the phones itself. The problem is that these FOSS/privacy phone manufacturers don’t sell their stuff through local e-shops like Alza. This is what hurts their adoption. Yeah, they lose 30% (or whatever percentage they have in the contract with the store) but this will recoup itself in the long run.
This is doing business 101. Don’t think short term, think long term.

Well, time to switch providers.
