CaptDust@sh.itjust.worksto Programmer Humor@programming.dev•They can see the policy working...31·15 days agoHonestly I’ll disable linting across entire files during these kinds of refactors because it’s annoying having build output littered with unused imports and format warnings while I’m still working on a solution. Requires some extra diligence to re-enable and clean up before pushing though.
I can’t explain the marketing, they call all these things loofahs. Just a normal sponge at the end of mine lol. Mostly just get something on a stick and enjoy the same smug cleanliness.
She looks so sweet, RIP Peaches
Ah I see the problem! It’s missing a motherboard, memory, drives and tuna treats. You’ll need all of those.

Something about those flight controls didn’t click for me. Y’all are saints.
Using my feline-tuned framework and cat-egorical classification systems, I must conclude this is genuine cat. That baby has immaculate whiskers, impossible to reproduce with current techniques
CaptDust@sh.itjust.worksto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Hey Lemmy, what browser do you use and why?0·22 days agoI use it with arch (btw) , haven’t had any problems in about 3 years, but I can’t speak the windows side of things. I also keep it mostly stock no custom theme or anything
CaptDust@sh.itjust.worksto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Hey Lemmy, what browser do you use and why?0·22 days agoMostly vivaldi, but I’ve been experimenting with Zen too, a Firefox fork. I really liked what I’ve seen so far. The layout is unique, workspaces and tab management is pretty nice.
Grok’s always had a sprinkle of sass, it’s kind of the bot’s defining trait. Mostly introduced as a side effect of the instruction to avoid being “politically correct” or “agreeable”, it can become antagonistic.
Well, he didn’t see anyone else writing it down! Let it be a lesson, the importance of documentation
This song was my first real exposure to “radio censorship”, was eye opening for me. The song is a metaphor for generational child abuse and a cry for help, fighting against the urge to descend into the same pattern themselves and breaking. and then the radio cut turned it into a damned anthem of violence removing the context.

I was curious too, looks especially neat for touchpads.
CaptDust@sh.itjust.worksto World News@lemmy.world•Musk’s Artificial Intelligence bot rants about ‘white genocide’ in South AfricaEnglish19·1 month agoTheir sheer incompetence is the only thing keeping me hopeful. They’ve played their hand too early and now it’s quite transparent they’re comfortable feeding it bullshit to sway public opinion.
CaptDust@sh.itjust.worksto World News@lemmy.world•Musk’s Artificial Intelligence bot rants about ‘white genocide’ in South AfricaEnglish18·1 month agoIdk about a manual mode, but it definitely has a system prompt to influence it’s responses and this feels like Xitter tried to poison it on the topic but forgot or neglected the guard rails.
This was misinformation last time it circulated, and I believe (?) Canada advised not to call a number because it wasn’t staffed for the volume. Anyone confirm if this one is legit?
