The main reason is not that I don’t appreciate what it’s saying. I don’t need a frequency to get it and I’m unsure if you’re being sarcastic.

The main reason is that I know chemistry and the analogy breaks for me at some point and the author is left jerking themselves off to some metaphysical fantasy.

Yeah, I lurked in many pseudoscience groups for amusement on Facebook back in the day and they’d use that kind of language.

So someone that understands it better than you is jerking themselves off when they explain it to someone else?

Did you also think all of your teachers were jerking themselves off every day in front of the class?

Who said I’m saying they understand it better? I’m saying they understand it differently, which is fine, but I don’t get it and I don’t care for those allegories.

Did you also think all of your teachers were jerking themselves off every day in front of the class?

What are you on about? Do you see any college textbooks written with this kind of imagery in STEM? I don’t see anything but clear, precise language in those texts.

You said you don’t understand it. Obviously they understand it better than you do.

“I don’t get it, so it’s dumb” is not the thought process of a learned individual.
