The reason I wanted to know if you’re familiar with QFT is because the analogy of song makes sense to me, in the context of QFT, and one reason to dismiss the analogy is if you don’t know anything about QFT and think someone’s just spouting hippy-dippy bullshit. I studied chemistry to a great extent and I’m familiar enough with quantum chemistry to have taken at least one lecture and opened a textbook. I hope that answers your questions and if not that’s fine.
