and Aldous Huxley died while on LSD
Also, I learned that Doctor Who is considered a single TV series that has run for 60 years, not a bunch of remakes

Theory
If we take all these events together and look for clues, then we see the following course of events:
- The Beatles, known for their subliminal lyrics, release a song with the lyrics “all my loving, I will send to you”
- Aldous Huxley listens to the album whilst under the influence, and immediately pens an inspired letter to to NASA about how to send their astronauts lovingly into space.
- NASA tests the parachute system, inspired by this letter, using Lewis (a reknown british fighter ace) as a test pilot to successfully parachute onto the BBC studio’s telephone box.
- This new gadgetry draped over their studio’s only landline inspired the sci-fi theme for Doctor Who.
- A photo was taken with the parachute draped over a british stone lion, and Henry Ford’s grandson reads it in the paper, and likes the image so much that he buys the Detroit Lions.
- The GANEFO, upon hearing about this sale, decides that football is dead, and that a world without football is not a world worth living in, and promptly closes.
- JFK, saddened by the loss of football, orders a hit on Huxley and Lewis, who are all promptly executed by Disney execs masquarading as BBC producers.
- The Queen, upon hearing about this treachery, blocks Disney from ever setting foot in the UK and orders a hit on JFK.
- JFK is assasinated by none other than George Harrison himself, and Disney decides to open a park in Florida.
