Today I viewed 2018’s “Terrified.” I liked it more than I had expected. It’s a Spanish film about a group of paranormal investigators taking on a mysterious case in a small town. It feels similar to Conjuring, but takes itself less seriously. I loved the cast of characters especially Maximiliano Ghione as Comisario Funes.

Definitely one to check out if you’re a horror junkie like myself. You can find it on Shudder.

    Excellent movie indeed. Probably one of the best Lovecraftian horror movie that wasn’t meant to be a Lovecraftian horror movie. Just a small correction though: it’s not a Spanish movie, it’s an Argentinean movie ( Script and Direction by Damián Rugna ). If you are a horror junkie ( like myself ) you may also enjoy his latest work: “When Evil Lurks” ( 2023 ).
