What? This is a German leader talking about international law, what does SCOTUS have to do with it? Am I missing something?
SCOTUS would usually be part of the checks and balances, determining if things are illegal or not. They’ve given the current Fascist president carte blanche to do whatever the fuck he wants without penalty.
They can make it legal under American law. It will still be illegal under international law.
