I seriously don’t think almost anyone understands electricity fully at this point. I’ve worked with some of the best electricians in the world and stumped them with questions. My father was and EE and while he claimed to know it all he couldn’t explain a damn thing. is there a real coherent theory?

No we understand how it works pretty well. We just don’t know why it works or how the mechanisms work, that make electricity work
