BTBAM os adult contemporary death metal and isn’t emo sounding at all. Dillinger NOR BTBAM sound anything close to emo, which isn’t dead.

That you’ve lumped them in is telling. They’re wildly outside of the genre and sound nothing like it. So your comparison to emo with those bands is just you saying you like those bands and not emo. Which is fine.
